We are calling on YOU to make an IMPACT!

This year more than ever, we have all been challenged with new and unprecedented events. We know this has impacted individuals, families, and all of us as a global community. During these times, we have grown even more appreciative of our own school community and partnership with each and every one of you. It has been said before but rings very true, we really are all in this together and as a community we are greater when we support and lift each other up.

The school is at its best when we are able to foster growth and improvement to meet those challenges it is facing head on. Today, I would like to ask you to make an IMPACT. Our Annual Fund Inspires Meaningful Progress And Change Together. Did you know that tuition alone does not cover the full cost of delivering the quality program our community has come to love? Your annual giving helps us close the gap between what we collect in tuition and fees and the cost per child to run our world class program. Through our Annual Fund, we can support low teacher-to-student ratios, improvements in technology, amazing fieldtrip experiences, scholarship funding, classroom libraries, and more. This year, more than ever, our operational costs have increased to ensure the safety of our community through restructured schedules, and Personal Protective Equipment in the classrooms

To support our total operational efforts, this year, we NEED contributed support funding of $895 per student throughout the year in order to ensure the continuity and growth of AIS. There are lots of ways to give and support the school's needs. Financial tax-deductible donations can be made in smaller monthly installments via our monthly giving program, in one-time gifts, or combined with employer matching gifts! You may consider spreading out your giving to support those initiatives that are the most meaningful to you, through our Annual Gala, designated program gifts, event sponsorship, and more.

We mentioned the overall fundraising goal per family above, however our Annual Fund goal launched each fall, drives the start of our giving programs for the year. We are asking you to make an incremental IMPACT by donating to the Annual Fund. We understand not everyone is able to give to all our fundraising programs. However, if you are able to only support one effort during the year - we ask that it be via an Annual Fund gift.

If we raise just $100 per student, we will make our Annual Fund goal of $15,000. That equates to just $10 a month if you give monthly from October to July. And we are only successful if each family is able to Inspire Meaningful Progress And Change Together! While we have a total donation goal of $15,000, the most important metric is the percentage of donors. With 100% participation in our Annual Fund, we can seek additional grants and sponsorships from community partners in Austin - increasing the impact of this giving. So we are asking each of you to make an Annual Fund gift.

If there is one big takeaway from my letter to you today, it is that the Annual Fund is truly our most important fundraiser of the year! So, please take a moment to join me and donate an amount – any amount – to our Annual Fund, and if you can - $100 per student. Thank you for making an IMPACT!
